Dear Friends,
Good morning - grace and peace to each of you as we begin this new week. I hope and pray that each of you has experienced some grace and some peace in these days of sheltering in place.
As the national social-distancing guidelines have been extended outward to the end of April, and as the news continues to look less than encouraging, I want to share one of my favorite scripture passages with you:
"I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us." - Romans 8:39 (from the Message Bible)
Being Christian means that we have given ourselves to Jesus and are following Him. He is our Master, and we have entered into His embrace. We belong to Jesus, and nothing - absolutely nothing - can separate us from His love.
Let's continually remind ourselves and one another of this today and in the days to come. We are in good hands.
Blessings,
Pastor Chris
