Fwd: PBPC Daily

Hello PBPC Family,

I want to begin sending out some brief, daily encouragements to you all. Brief - meaning you won't need to put off reading until later when you have more time. Daily - I don't promise they'll come every day, but I expect at least a few times a week. Encouragements - no business here, see the PBPC Updates for actual church information.

Several of you have shared with me that while this is a difficult time, there is so much to be thankful for. Here are some things that I'm thankful for today:

• A home to be isolated in, with heat, water, and a nice bed; so many people do not have these things
• Enough food to eat - even with empty shelves and rumors of hoarding, so far I have had all that I needed
• Beautiful weather - I've been able to take a long walk in the park most days, and the sunshine and and buds on the trees remind me that it is springtime
  
• Technology that allows us all to stay connected, and is actually easy to use - even for me
  
• My loved ones - I'm blessed to be here with my wife and step-son, but I've also had good connections with my children, family, and friends during this time

There are so many more things I could add, and I encourage you to make your own list, and also to remember to make time each day to give God thanks for our many blessings.
